I need to find the name of the nearest color given its hex code.
  +1 | I have an algorithm that creates random (yet pleasing) colors for different parts of a pet in a game (body, hair, horn, etc.). It would be nice to have a name for each color, so the user could say, "my pet has mauve hair," "Mine has Prussian blue horns," etcetera. Obviously, it is sufficient to find the nearest one. I know that there are millions of combinations |
